Server:
The Switch Expert 6.0 application
layout/configuration is here.
Upon receipt of the DMS/MSL/CS 2100/CS
1000 raw
Operational Measurements (OMs), System Events (Logs) and
Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) data. The
server will immediately compile and process the data
enabling you to view user-friendly reports and charts.
The server will then update all active logged-on clients
via secure TCP/IP connections with module data based on
the client’s access privileges.
On a daily schedule, the server will
archive each module’s compiled and formatted data into
a proprietary database.
Clients:
You connect to the server via the
Switch Expert 6.0 client software. As mentioned earlier,
the client is up to 128-bit secure when transferring
data between the client and servers.
SE 6.0 clients have the ability to connect to
multiple servers, which serves as a strong platform for
the System Alarm Manager (SAM).
The SAM provides real-time status
through site-specific visual and audio indicators.
The client software exposes each server’s
database enabling ad-hoc long-term traffic and systems
analysis.
Privileged
clients may view the DMS/MSL/CS
2100/CS 1000 real time system logs via
the System Event Monitor (SEM).
The SEM also allows you to set e-mail and SNMP
notifications on a particular system or number of like
system events within a definable time.
Switch Expert may also serve as a SNMP trap catcher
and is fully integrated into the SEM notification processes.
Use
the left menu buttons for sample screen shots.
